Quick answer
AML jobs in Hyderabad are real and steady: on 24 October 2026, Naukri showed about 1,163 results for "aml" in Hyderabad and LinkedIn showed close to 1,000, led by global banks, Big Four firms, fund administrators, fintechs and consulting firms. These counts are keyword matches, not confirmed openings, and many results are unrelated roles. The genuine AML work in Hyderabad sits mostly in KYC onboarding and reviews, AML alert investigations, transaction monitoring, quality checks and AML technology. AmbitionBox showed a typical AML analyst salary in Hyderabad of about ₹4.7 to 5.2 lakh a year in October 2026.
- Keyword-match counts (24 Oct 2026): Naukri "aml" Hyderabad about 1,163, "kyc" Hyderabad about 1,515; LinkedIn "AML" Hyderabad 981
- Companies with Hyderabad AML/KYC listings in October 2026: JPMorganChase, State Street, Bank of America, EY, PwC, Grant Thornton, Guidehouse, Citco, Macquarie, Wise, Tide and more
- Roles in demand: KYC analyst, AML investigations analyst, transaction monitoring (L2), AML QA, AML technology roles
- Typical pay: AML analyst ₹4.7 to 5.2 lakh and KYC analyst ₹4.6 to 5 lakh a year in Hyderabad (AmbitionBox, October 2026)
- Fresher reality: most bank and Big Four AML roles ask for 1 to 3 years or more, so plan your entry route
Key takeaways
- Hyderabad is one of India's main AML job cities, but Naukri's "aml" count for Bengaluru (2,483) and Mumbai (2,371) was about twice Hyderabad's on 24 October 2026.
- Read every count as a keyword match. The real AML and KYC share of Hyderabad results is much smaller than the headline number.
- Hyderabad's AML employers are a mix of global bank operations centres, Big Four and consulting firms, fund administrators, fintechs and IT services firms that build AML systems.
- AmbitionBox's Hyderabad AML analyst range sat below its all-India range in October 2026, so experience, domain and employer type matter a lot for your pay.
- A focused 12-week plan covering AML basics, Excel, case writing, one certificate and targeted local applications gives freshers and switchers the best chance.
1. AML jobs in Hyderabad at a glance
Short answer: Hyderabad offers AML and KYC roles across banks, consulting firms, fund administrators and fintechs, with about a thousand keyword-match results on each big portal and typical analyst pay of roughly ₹4.6 to 5.2 lakh a year.
AML stands for anti-money laundering: the checks that stop criminals from passing off illegal money as clean money. KYC (know your customer) is the identity and background check on a customer, and it is the most common entry point into AML work. If you need the basics first, read our guide to anti money laundering.

2. How many AML and KYC jobs are there in Hyderabad?
Short answer: On 24 October 2026, Naukri showed about 1,163 results for "aml" in Hyderabad, about 798 for "aml analyst" and about 1,515 for "kyc", while LinkedIn showed 981 for "AML" and 957 for "KYC", but these are keyword matches that include many non-AML roles.
Hyderabad counts by search
You can run the same searches yourself on Naukri's AML jobs in Hyderabad page and the LinkedIn AML search for Hyderabad. The numbers change every day.
Why the real number is smaller
Job portals broad-match your words. When we read the results on 24 October 2026, the first page of Naukri's "aml analyst" search for Hyderabad already mixed in financial analyst, business analysis trainee, EPM and network firewall jobs. Page two of the "aml" search drifted into branch banking, relationship manager and QHSE roles. On LinkedIn, the Hyderabad "AML" results also included software engineers, data scientists and architects.
So treat the headline as a ceiling, not a count. The honest summary is this: LinkedIn showed close to 1,000 results for "AML" in Hyderabad on 24 October 2026, many of them AML and KYC operations, investigations and AML technology roles, with a good share of unrelated roles mixed in.
How Hyderabad compares with other cities
Naukri's "aml" keyword count by city on the same day gives a rough sense of scale.
Hyderabad sits in the second group with Pune, Gurgaon and Chennai. That is still a large market. You will not run out of AML and KYC roles to apply for in Hyderabad if you have the right basics.
Tip: Search with specific phrases such as "KYC analyst", "AML investigations", "transaction monitoring L2" or "client onboarding" plus Hyderabad. You get fewer, cleaner results than a bare "aml" search.
3. AML companies in Hyderabad: who posted roles in October 2026
Short answer: In October 2026, AML, KYC or financial-crime listings in Hyderabad came from global banks (JPMorganChase, State Street, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs), Big Four and consulting firms (EY, Deloitte, PwC, Grant Thornton, Guidehouse), fund and financial services firms (Citco, IQ-EQ, Macquarie), fintechs (Wise, Tide) and technology firms (Amazon, TCS, Capgemini, Virtusa).
The table lists only companies we saw with a relevant listing in Hyderabad. These are listings seen on 24 October 2026, not hiring commitments or volumes. The date in brackets is the posted date the portal showed, where it showed one.
A few readings from this table:
- Global banks run KYC operations here. The JPMorganChase listing said its wholesale KYC teams for Europe, the Middle East and Africa sit across Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
- Experience levels vary widely. Wise marked its role entry level, Grant Thornton asked 2 to 4 years for analysts, and Citco and IQ-EQ asked 5 years or more.
- Hyderabad also has AML technology jobs. TCS, Capgemini, algoleap and Goldman Sachs listings were for engineers who build or configure AML and KYC systems, not for analysts.
- Some roles need a foreign language. Amazon's AML QA titles named Swedish and Chinese.
Companies people search for but we did not find
People often search for names such as HSBC, Cognizant, Genpact, KPMG, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank together with "AML jobs in Hyderabad". In our 24 October 2026 check, we did not find an AML or KYC analyst listing in Hyderabad from these names. For HSBC Hyderabad, we saw only an older fraud operations role on Naukri. This does not mean they never hire for AML in Hyderabad. It means you should check their own careers pages instead of trusting a list.
4. Where AML employers sit in Hyderabad
Short answer: Most large banking operations centres, Big Four offices and IT services firms in Hyderabad sit in the western IT corridor, which includes HITEC City, Gachibowli and the Financial District, so expect most AML offices to be in or near that belt.
We did not verify the office address of each company in the table above, so we will not tell you which building a team sits in. What is well known is that HITEC City, Gachibowli and the Financial District are Hyderabad's main IT and global capability centre (GCC) hubs. A GCC is an in-house centre that a global company runs in India for operations, technology and analytics. Many bank operations teams, including KYC and AML teams, work out of such centres.
What this means for you:
- Commute: if you live in the east or north of the city, factor in travel time, especially for night or rotational shifts.
- Cab support: some employers mention transport for shift staff. Ask the recruiter directly rather than assuming it.
- Location on the offer letter: always confirm the actual office address. Some agency listings show "Hyderabad" in the location field while the job text says another city.
5. AML roles in demand in Hyderabad
Short answer: The Hyderabad listings we read in October 2026 clustered around five kinds of work: KYC and client onboarding, AML alert investigations, transaction monitoring, quality assurance, and AML analytics or technology.
A few terms first. An alert is a flag that monitoring software raises on a transaction or customer. A false positive is an alert that turns out to be harmless after review. L1, L2 and L3 are review levels: L1 does first review, L2 investigates escalated cases, and L3 handles the most complex cases or makes the final decision. CDD (customer due diligence) is the standard check on a customer, and EDD (enhanced due diligence) is the deeper check for high-risk customers. A PEP is a politically exposed person, such as a senior public official.
Which role to target first: with no experience, aim for KYC or entry-level investigations roles. With a bank branch or BPO banking background, KYC operations and onboarding value your document handling. Commerce graduates with strong Excel suit reporting and QA. Engineering graduates can aim for AML technology roles.
6. What Hyderabad AML job descriptions ask for
Short answer: Hyderabad AML job descriptions in October 2026 asked for KYC and alert review skills, knowledge of FATF and sanctions rules, strong Excel, clear written case narratives and shift flexibility, while certifications such as ACAMS or ICA were listed as good to have, not mandatory.
We read the full job descriptions for several Hyderabad roles on 24 October 2026. Here is what they said, in plain words.
- State Street, AML Senior Associate: KYC reviews on all entity types, World-Check and other search tools, complex ownership structures, at least 99% quality, advanced Excel, FATF, FATCA and Bank Secrecy Act knowledge, night shifts if required, a graduate preferably in finance, and ACAMS or ICA certification good to have (LinkedIn listing, October 2026).
- Wise, FinCrime Operations Analyst: review sanctions-screening matches and AML alerts, decide whether to escalate or discount them, analyse transactions, keep up with OFAC, EU and UK sanctions, and document the reason for each decision. The listing calls it a role to build foundational expertise.
- Guidehouse, Process Associate: end-to-end AML investigation reviews in retail banking or crypto, open-source research, written case narratives, productivity, quality and SLA targets, and a bachelor's degree in any stream.
- Guidehouse walk-in (KYC, AML, TMS): L2 alert investigation, SAR/STR narratives, using KYC, CDD and EDD data in investigations, rotational or client-aligned shifts, and any graduate.
- Bank of America, Team Leader: AML KYC defect detection reporting, a basic understanding of AML, KYC, OFAC and global financial crime, and strong Excel with large data sets.
The pattern in one checklist
- Tasks: KYC, CDD and EDD reviews; alert review (transaction monitoring L1 or L2, sanctions and PEP screening); escalation decisions; written case narratives; support for suspicious activity reports.
- Rules named: FATF, the US Bank Secrecy Act, FATCA, and OFAC, EU and UK sanctions. FATF is the Financial Action Task Force, the global body that sets AML standards. Sanctions are legal restrictions on dealing with named people, firms or countries.
- Tools named: World-Check in the State Street listing; Excel in most; R, Python, SAS and SQL in the Bank of America analytics role.
- Qualifications: mostly "any graduate", with finance or commerce preferred in some.
- Certifications: ACAMS, ICA and similar listed as good to have, not required for entry.
Indian rules you should also know
Many Hyderabad teams serve foreign clients, so JDs name US, UK and EU rules. Interviewers still expect you to know Indian basics. Under India's Prevention of Money-laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA), banks report to FIU-IND, India's Financial Intelligence Unit. An STR (suspicious transaction report) has no minimum amount and must be filed not later than 7 working days after the bank is satisfied a transaction is suspicious, according to the FIU-IND FAQs (October 2026). A CTR (cash transaction report) covers cash transactions above ₹10 lakh. This is career guidance, not legal advice; check the current Act, FIU-IND notifications or a lawyer for any real case.
7. AML and KYC salary in Hyderabad
Short answer: AmbitionBox showed a typical AML analyst salary in Hyderabad of ₹4.7 to 5.2 lakh a year and a typical KYC analyst salary of ₹4.6 to 5 lakh a year in October 2026, rising to about ₹5.5 to 6.9 lakh in the 6 to 9 year band.
These are AmbitionBox "typical salary ranges" shown to logged-out users, based on salaries people report. They are not offers. Small samples are marked.
Salary by role and experience in Hyderabad
Sources: AmbitionBox AML Analyst salary in Hyderabad (updated 21 Oct 2026) and AmbitionBox KYC Analyst salary in Hyderabad (updated 22 Oct 2026).
How Hyderabad compares
AmbitionBox's all-India typical range for AML analysts was ₹5.8 to 6.4 lakh a year (3.3k salaries, October 2026), and Bengaluru's was ₹5.5 to 6 lakh. Hyderabad's ₹4.7 to 5.2 lakh is lower. One reason to keep in mind: many reported AML analyst salaries on AmbitionBox come from BPO-industry employers, which tend to pull the typical figure down.
Employer type matters. Within Hyderabad, AmbitionBox showed AML analysts in the financial services industry at ₹6.7 to 7.4 lakh a year (170 salaries, October 2026), clearly above the city-wide range.
What about freshers?
AmbitionBox did not show a reported band for under one year in Hyderabad. The lowest reported band, 1 to 3 years, was about ₹3.9 to 4.4 lakh a year for AML analysts and ₹3.9 to 4.3 lakh for KYC analysts in Hyderabad in October 2026. At an all-India level, AmbitionBox showed an estimate (not reported salaries) of ₹3.4 to 3.7 lakh a year for AML KYC analysts with 0 to 1 year.
What raises your pay in Hyderabad
- Moving from KYC into L2 investigations or transaction monitoring
- Working for a bank, fund administrator or financial services firm rather than a general BPO
- Strong Excel, and SQL or Python for analytics roles
- A recognised certification once you have some experience
- A foreign language, where the role needs it

8. Shifts, work from home and walk-ins in Hyderabad
Short answer: Many Hyderabad AML roles follow the client's time zone, so night, rotational or client-aligned shifts are common, most listings we read were office-based or hybrid rather than fully remote, and walk-in drives do happen.
Shifts
Hyderabad AML teams often serve customers in the US, UK, Europe and other regions. In October 2026, the State Street AML listing asked for shift flexibility including night shifts if required, and the Guidehouse walk-in mentioned rotational shifts or client-aligned schedules. Some BPO banking listings in Hyderabad said "US shift". Before you accept, ask the recruiter three questions: which shift, whether it rotates, and whether transport is provided.
Work from home
People often search for "AML KYC jobs in Hyderabad work from home". In the Hyderabad listings we read, one Citco role was marked hybrid. We did not see verified fully remote AML analyst roles from banks in our check. Be careful with ads that promise full remote AML jobs with high pay and no experience, especially from agencies. Read the actual job text and the employer name.
Walk-ins
Walk-in drives are a real route in Hyderabad. On 24 October 2026, Guidehouse ran a walk-in drive in Hyderabad for KYC, AML and TMS roles (Naukri listing, October 2026) for candidates with 2 to 6 years of experience. Search "aml walkin" or "kyc walkin" with Hyderabad on Naukri every week, and carry printed resumes, ID and your certificates.
9. AML analyst jobs in Hyderabad for freshers
Short answer: True fresher AML roles in Hyderabad are few; Wise listed an entry-level AML investigations role in October 2026, but most bank and Big Four roles asked for 1 to 3 years or more, so many freshers start in KYC operations or BPO banking processes and move up.
Here is what we saw for freshers on 24 October 2026:
- Wise, Hyderabad: FinCrime Operations Analyst (AML Investigations), marked "Entry level" on LinkedIn. This is the clearest fresher-friendly AML listing in Hyderabad in our check.
- Naukri "aml fresher" (India): about 75 results, and the first page was dominated by BPO voice and non-voice roles and training or placement agencies, not banks.
- Agency listings: one KYC AML fresher listing from a training and placement firm showed Hyderabad among its locations, while the title and text said the work was in Gurugram. Always read the full text.
- Misleading tags: an Accenture fresher listing in Hyderabad carried an "Anti-Money Laundering" tag, but the job text described trust and safety content moderation. Read the job description, not the tag.
A realistic entry route
- Start in a KYC, onboarding or banking operations process, even in a BPO or KPO.
- Learn AML basics, Excel and case writing on the side.
- After about a year of experience, apply internally or externally for AML alert review and investigations roles.
- Add a certification once you have experience to back it.
Red flags to avoid
- Any employer or agency that asks you to pay for a job, an interview slot or "registration"
- Offers with no company name, no address or no written offer letter
- "Guaranteed placement" promises tied to an upfront payment

10. How to get an AML job in Hyderabad: a 12-week plan
Short answer: Spend weeks 1 to 4 on AML and KYC basics, weeks 5 to 8 on Excel, case writing and screening practice, and weeks 9 to 12 on your resume, a certificate and targeted applications to Hyderabad employers, walk-ins and referrals.
This plan assumes 10 to 12 hours a week. Working professionals can stretch it to 16 weeks.
Week-by-week tips
- Weeks 1 to 4: learn the vocabulary first. Interviewers in Hyderabad often start with "What is KYC?", "What is the difference between CDD and EDD?" and "What is an STR?".
- Weeks 5 to 6: most Hyderabad JDs ask for Excel. Practise on a sheet of 200 fictional transactions and find round amounts, repeated deposits just below a limit, and sudden spikes.
- Weeks 7 to 8: writing matters. Guidehouse and Wise both asked for written case narratives or documented decisions. A good narrative says who the customer is, what triggered the alert, what you checked and why you escalated or closed it.
- Weeks 9 to 10: the IIBF Certificate Examination in AML/KYC is a low-cost Indian option. The IIBF fee was ₹1,100 for members and ₹1,600 for non-members per attempt, plus GST, as listed in the IIBF AML/KYC exam rules (October 2026). Keep CAMS for later, when you have experience.
- Weeks 11 to 12: tailor your resume to each role. Use the words in the JD, such as "KYC review", "sanctions screening", "alert investigation" and "case narrative". Our AML analyst resume guide shows sample bullets.
11. Where and how to apply for AML jobs in Hyderabad
Short answer: Combine job portals with specific search phrases, company careers pages, walk-in drives and referrals from people already working in Hyderabad AML teams, and follow up on every application.
- Portals with precise searches. Use Naukri and LinkedIn with phrases like "KYC analyst Hyderabad", "AML investigations Hyderabad", "client onboarding Hyderabad" and "transaction monitoring Hyderabad". Set daily alerts.
- Careers pages. Check the careers pages of the companies in section 3 every week. Roles often appear there first.
- Walk-ins. Search "aml walkin" and "kyc walkin" with Hyderabad every week.
- Referrals. Find people with titles like "KYC Analyst" or "AML Investigator" at Hyderabad employers on LinkedIn. Ask a short, polite question about their team, not for a job on the first message.
- Internal moves. If you already work in a Hyderabad bank operations or BPO banking process, ask about internal job postings into KYC or AML teams.
- Track everything. Keep a sheet with company, role, date applied, contact and next step.
Before each interview, practise explaining KYC, CDD, EDD, PEP, STR and CTR in a sentence or two, and walk through one fictional alert from trigger to decision.

Are there AML jobs in Hyderabad?
Yes, Hyderabad has a steady AML and KYC job market. On 24 October 2026, Naukri showed about 1,163 results for "aml" in Hyderabad and LinkedIn showed 981 for "AML". These are keyword matches that include unrelated roles, but global banks, Big Four firms, fund administrators and fintechs all had genuine AML or KYC listings in the city in October 2026.
How many AML jobs are there in Hyderabad right now?
There is no exact count, because portals show keyword matches rather than confirmed AML openings. On 24 October 2026, Naukri showed about 1,163 results for "aml", about 798 for "aml analyst" and about 1,515 for "kyc" in Hyderabad. Many results were unrelated roles such as financial analysts or engineers, so the real AML share is much smaller.
Which companies hire for AML in Hyderabad?
In October 2026, AML or KYC listings in Hyderabad came from JPMorganChase, State Street, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs, EY, Deloitte, PwC, Grant Thornton, Guidehouse, Macquarie, Citco, IQ-EQ, Wise, Tide, Amazon, TCS, Capgemini, Virtusa and algoleap. These were listings seen on one date, not hiring commitments, so check each company's careers page for current roles.
Are there KYC jobs in Hyderabad?
Yes, KYC roles are the most common entry point into AML work in Hyderabad. Naukri showed about 1,515 results for "kyc" in Hyderabad and LinkedIn showed 957 on 24 October 2026. What is the AML analyst salary in Hyderabad?
AmbitionBox showed a typical AML analyst salary in Hyderabad of ₹4.7 to 5.2 lakh a year, based on 494 reported salaries, updated in October 2026. By experience, the range was about ₹3.9 to 4.4 lakh for 1 to 3 years, ₹4.7 to 5.2 lakh for 3 to 6 years and ₹5.5 to 6.7 lakh for 6 to 9 years, the last from a small sample.
What is the KYC analyst salary in Hyderabad?

The range was about ₹3.9 to 4.3 lakh for 1 to 3 years, ₹4.8 to 5.3 lakh for 3 to 6 years and ₹5.9 to 6.9 lakh for 6 to 9 years, the last from a small sample.
Why is AML salary in Hyderabad lower than the national average?
AmbitionBox's typical AML analyst range for Hyderabad, ₹4.7 to 5.2 lakh, was below the all-India range of ₹5.8 to 6.4 lakh in October 2026. Many reported AML salaries come from BPO-industry employers, which pull the figure down. AML analysts in Hyderabad's financial services industry showed a higher range of ₹6.7 to 7.4 lakh a year.
Can freshers get AML analyst jobs in Hyderabad?
Yes, but true fresher roles are few. Wise listed an entry-level FinCrime Operations Analyst role in Hyderabad in October 2026, while most bank and Big Four AML roles asked for 1 to 3 years or more. Many freshers start in KYC operations or BPO banking processes, learn AML basics and Excel, and move into investigations after a year or so.
What is the salary for AML freshers in Hyderabad?
AmbitionBox did not show a reported under-one-year band for Hyderabad in October 2026. Its lowest reported band, 1 to 3 years, was about ₹3.9 to 4.4 lakh a year for AML analysts in Hyderabad. At an all-India level, AmbitionBox showed an estimate, not reported salaries, of ₹3.4 to 3.7 lakh a year for AML KYC analysts with up to one year.
What qualifications do I need for AML jobs in Hyderabad?
Most Hyderabad AML listings we read asked for any graduate, with finance or commerce preferred in some. They valued KYC and alert review skills, knowledge of FATF and sanctions rules, strong Excel and clear written case narratives. Certifications such as ACAMS or ICA were listed as good to have, not mandatory, in the October 2026 job descriptions.
Is a certification required to get an AML job in Hyderabad?
No, a certification was not a requirement in the Hyderabad job descriptions we read in October 2026. State Street, for example, listed ACAMS or ICA as good to have. A low-cost Indian certificate such as the IIBF AML/KYC exam can strengthen a fresher's resume, and CAMS is more useful once you have some AML experience.
What skills do AML jobs in Hyderabad ask for?
Hyderabad AML job descriptions asked for KYC, CDD and EDD reviews, alert review and escalation decisions, sanctions and PEP screening, and written case narratives. They named FATF, the Bank Secrecy Act, FATCA and OFAC, EU and UK sanctions. Excel appeared in most listings, World-Check in one, and SQL, Python, R or SAS in analytics roles.
Which AML roles are in demand in Hyderabad?
The Hyderabad listings we read in October 2026 clustered around KYC and client onboarding, AML alert investigations, transaction monitoring at L2, AML quality assurance, reporting and analytics, and AML technology roles. Advisory and due diligence roles also appeared at Big Four firms. KYC and investigations roles are the most common entry points for new analysts.
Are there AML technology jobs in Hyderabad?
Yes, Hyderabad has AML technology roles as well as analyst roles. In October 2026, TCS listed a FircoSoft developer role for sanctions screening technology, Capgemini listed Pega Smart Investigate specialists, algoleap listed an Oracle AML FCCM developer, and Goldman Sachs listed a KYC model engineering role. These suit engineering graduates who want to combine coding with financial crime knowledge.
Do AML jobs in Hyderabad have night shifts?
Many do, because Hyderabad AML teams often serve clients in other time zones. In October 2026, State Street's AML listing asked for shift flexibility including night shifts if required, and a Guidehouse walk-in mentioned rotational or client-aligned shifts. Some BPO banking listings said "US shift". Always ask the recruiter about the shift pattern and transport before accepting.
Are there work from home AML KYC jobs in Hyderabad?
Fully remote AML roles were not common in the Hyderabad listings we read in October 2026. One Citco role was marked hybrid, and we did not see verified fully remote AML analyst roles from banks. Be careful with ads that promise full remote AML jobs with high pay and no experience, especially from agencies, and always read the actual job text and employer name.
Are there AML walk-in drives in Hyderabad?
Yes, walk-in drives do happen in Hyderabad. On 24 October 2026, Guidehouse ran a walk-in drive in Hyderabad for KYC, AML and transaction monitoring roles, for candidates with 2 to 6 years of experience. Search "aml walkin" or "kyc walkin" with Hyderabad on Naukri every week and carry printed resumes, ID and certificates.
Does HSBC or Cognizant hire for AML in Hyderabad?
In our 24 October 2026 check, we did not find an AML or KYC analyst listing in Hyderabad from HSBC, Cognizant, Genpact, KPMG, HDFC Bank or ICICI Bank. For HSBC Hyderabad, we saw only an older fraud operations role. This does not mean they never hire for AML there, so check their own careers pages for current roles.
Where are AML companies located in Hyderabad?
Most large banking operations centres, Big Four offices and IT services firms in Hyderabad sit in the western IT corridor, including HITEC City, Gachibowli and the Financial District. We did not verify each company's office address, so always confirm the actual office location on the job description and offer letter, especially if you will work night shifts.
How does Hyderabad compare with Bengaluru for AML jobs?
Bengaluru had about twice as many Naukri results for "aml" as Hyderabad on 24 October 2026, about 2,483 against 1,163. AmbitionBox's typical AML analyst range was also higher in Bengaluru, at ₹5.5 to 6 lakh a year, compared with ₹4.7 to 5.2 lakh in Hyderabad. Hyderabad is still a large market with many genuine roles.
How long does it take to get an AML job in Hyderabad?
With focused effort, many freshers and switchers can become interview-ready in about 12 weeks. Spend the first four weeks on AML and KYC basics, the next four on Excel and case writing, and the last four on your resume, a certificate and targeted Hyderabad applications. The actual job search time depends on your background and the market.
What is a good first AML role for a fresher in Hyderabad?
A KYC analyst or client onboarding role is the most common first step, because it teaches documents, ownership checks and risk rating. An entry-level investigations role, like the one Wise listed in October 2026, is another option. After about a year of experience, many analysts move into alert review, transaction monitoring and investigations roles.
How can I avoid fake AML job offers in Hyderabad?
Never pay anyone for a job, an interview slot or registration. Be wary of listings with no company name, no address or no written offer letter, and of guaranteed placement promises tied to an upfront payment.
