UCAT Coaching Syllabus (9 Modules)
Our UCAT coaching in India follows a 9-module syllabus aligned with the current four-section UCAT (Abstract Reasoning has been removed). You cover each section in depth, then the test format, exam strategy, timed practice, coaching add-ons and preparation beyond the test.
Module 1: Verbal Reasoning (VR)
Assesses your ability to read, interpret and critically evaluate written information. Format: 44 questions in 22 minutes. Question types: True/False/Can’t Tell and best-fit answers.
Module 2: Decision Making (DM)
Assesses logical reasoning, evaluating arguments and problem-solving. Format: 35 questions in 37 minutes. Question types: syllogisms, logic puzzles, Venn diagrams, probabilities and interpreting charts.
Module 3: Quantitative Reasoning (QR)
Assesses numerical reasoning and data analysis. Format: 36 questions in 26 minutes, with an on-screen calculator. Question types: word problems on percentages, ratios, rates and statistics.
Module 4: Situational Judgement (SJ)
Assesses judgement in real-world medical and ethical scenarios. Format: 69 questions in 26 minutes. Question types: rating the appropriateness or importance of responses.
Module 5: UCAT 2026 Test Format
A computer-based, multiple-choice test of just under 2 hours, including short instruction screens. VR, DM and QR are each scaled from 300 to 900, Situational Judgement is reported in Bands 1–4, and there is no negative marking.

Time-management techniques for each section, including when to skip or guess, elimination strategies for Verbal Reasoning and Decision Making, and mental maths and estimation for Quantitative Reasoning.
