SailPoint Jobs in Hyderabad 2026 guide by Brolly Academy

Quick answer

Yes, Hyderabad is one of India's biggest markets for SailPoint work: on 24 October 2026 Naukri showed about 934 results for "sailpoint" in Hyderabad, second only to Bengaluru (about 1,866), with listings from EY, Deloitte, PwC, Cognizant, TCS and several global capability centres. These are keyword-match counts, not a count of open SailPoint jobs, because they include re-posts and roles where SailPoint is one skill among many. Most Hyderabad listings ask for 3 or more years of identity and access management experience, and almost all are office-based or hybrid.

  • Main roles: SailPoint IdentityIQ developer, Identity Security Cloud (ISC) developer or consultant, IAM operations analyst, IGA engineer, architect and manager
  • Who had listings: Big Four firms (EY, Deloitte, PwC), IT services firms (Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Virtusa via an agency), GCCs such as LPL Financial, Chubb, PepsiCo, Providence India, Zoetis and ICE
  • Typical pay: AmbitionBox showed ₹7.2 to 8.3 lakh a year for SailPoint developers in Hyderabad with 1 to 6 years' experience (263 salaries, October 2026)
  • Freshers: we found no genuine 0-year SailPoint developer listing; the realistic entry is IAM operations, access management or support work
  • Work pattern: Naukri tagged 837 of the 934 Hyderabad results as work from office; shifts include 11 AM to 8 PM, US shift and rotational

Key takeaways

  1. Hyderabad had the second-highest Naukri count for "sailpoint" among Indian cities on 24 October 2026, ahead of Pune, Chennai and Mumbai.
  2. Big Four delivery centres and GCCs drive most named SailPoint listings in Hyderabad, and both IdentityIQ and Identity Security Cloud roles appear.
  3. Hyderabad job descriptions repeat the same core skills: IdentityIQ or ISC, Java, BeanShell, connectors, rules, workflows, roles, access certifications and joiner-mover-leaver processes.
  4. SailPoint certification appeared only as "desirable" or "good to have" in the JDs we read, never as a must.
  5. Freshers should target IAM operations and access-management roles first, build hands-on SailPoint skills, and move into development after 1 to 3 years.

1. SailPoint jobs in Hyderabad at a glance

Short answer: Hyderabad offers a large, mostly mid-level SailPoint market led by Big Four firms and GCCs, with pay that rises clearly after 3 years and very few true entry-level openings.

Use this table as your one-screen summary. Every number is dated and sourced in the sections below.

Question What we found (24 October 2026) Where it comes from How many listings? About 934 Naukri results for "sailpoint" in Hyderabad; LinkedIn showed "1,000+" Naukri and LinkedIn keyword searches How does it rank? Second after Bengaluru (about 1,866); ahead of Pune (about 762) Naukri city searches Who had listings? EY, Deloitte, PwC, Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, GCCs, smaller consultancies Listings seen on Naukri and LinkedIn Experience asked Mostly 3 to 8 years; architects and managers 7 years and up Hyderabad JDs Work mode 837 of 934 tagged work from office, 86 hybrid, 11 remote Naukri filters Typical salary ₹7.2 to 8.3 lakh a year, SailPoint developer, 1 to 6 years AmbitionBox, 263 salaries Fresher openings No genuine 0-year SailPoint developer role found Naukri and LinkedIn

Before we go further, two product names you will see in every Hyderabad JD:

  • IdentityIQ (IIQ): SailPoint's self-managed identity governance product, installed on a customer's own servers or private cloud. SailPoint announced IdentityIQ 9.0 on 6 October 2026 as a modernisation path for on-premises and hybrid customers (SailPoint, October 2026).
  • Identity Security Cloud (ISC): the SaaS product, formerly called IdentityNow, and since August 2026 sold as SailPoint Human Fabric within the unified SailPoint Identity Security solution (SailPoint, August 2026). Job posts in Hyderabad still say "ISC", "IDN" or "IdentityNow", so search for all three.

If you want the full India-wide picture first, read our guide to SailPoint jobs in India. This page stays on Hyderabad.

2. Hyderabad job market snapshot: counts by city (24 October 2026)

Short answer: On 24 October 2026, Naukri showed about 934 results for "sailpoint" in Hyderabad, about half of Bengaluru's 1,866 but more than Pune, Chennai, Mumbai, Noida or Gurgaon; these are keyword matches that include duplicates and loosely related roles.

We searched Naukri while logged out on 24 October 2026 and noted the "1 - 20 of N" line for each search. You can repeat the Hyderabad "sailpoint" search on Naukri yourself; the number will have changed, because portals refresh every day.

Naukri search, 24 Oct 2026 Results shown "sailpoint", all India 5,550 "sailpoint", Bengaluru 1,866 "sailpoint", Hyderabad 934 "sailpoint", Pune 762 "sailpoint", Chennai 516 "sailpoint", Mumbai 455 "sailpoint", Noida 235 "sailpoint", Gurgaon 229

Hyderabad's 934 is about one in six of the all-India "sailpoint" count. Wider identity searches are bigger, because they include identity work on other tools such as CyberArk, Okta or Microsoft Entra ID:

  • "identity access management", Hyderabad: 1,250 results
  • "iam", Hyderabad: 1,496 results

On LinkedIn, a logged-out search for "SailPoint" in Hyderabad showed "1,000+" results on the same day, against "4,000+" for India and "2,000+" for Bengaluru. LinkedIn rounds big numbers, and the same EY and Deloitte multi-city postings appear in the Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune and Chennai searches, so do not add city counts together.

How to read these numbers

Treat portal counts as a demand signal, not a vacancy count. Here is why:

  1. Broad matching: Naukri's own filter showed Accenture as the top company in the Hyderabad "sailpoint" results with 325 entries, but most were generic security roles such as security delivery lead or security managed services practitioner, where SailPoint is one of many listed skills.
  2. Agency re-posts: page one included recruiters such as Consult Asia, Orcapod (for Cognizant), Conqueri (for Virtusa), Tekskills and anonymous "Big 4 Consulting Firm" cards. One real job can appear three or four times.
  3. Company vs consultant posts: Naukri split the 934 into 827 company jobs and 107 consultant jobs.

Hyderabad vs Bengaluru vs Pune

City Naukri "sailpoint" (24 Oct 2026) AmbitionBox SailPoint developer range (Oct 2026) What stands out Hyderabad 934 ₹7.2 to 8.3 lakh (1 to 6 yrs, 263 salaries) Big Four centres and many GCCs Bengaluru 1,866 ₹7 to 8.3 lakh (1 to 5 yrs, 123 salaries) Largest count; consulting and product security firms Pune 762 ₹6.3 to 8.6 lakh (1 to 5 yrs, 33 salaries, small sample) SailPoint itself had engineering listings here

Pay ranges overlap closely, and Hyderabad has the largest AmbitionBox sample of the three. SailPoint the company had engineering and product listings in Pune in October 2026, but we saw none in Hyderabad. Here you work with SailPoint products at consulting firms, IT services firms and the companies that use them.

3. Companies with SailPoint listings in Hyderabad (October 2026)

Short answer: In October 2026, EY, Deloitte, PwC, Cognizant, TCS and Virtusa (through an agency) had SailPoint-titled listings in Hyderabad, and GCCs such as LPL Financial, Chubb, PepsiCo, Providence India, Zoetis and ICE had identity governance or IAM listings.

The table lists companies whose Hyderabad listings we saw on Naukri or LinkedIn between late September and 24 October 2026. These are listings seen on those dates, not hiring commitments, and many Big Four postings cover several cities.

Company Type Listing titles seen Experience shown EY Big Four SailPoint IIQ Senior, SailPoint ISC Senior, SailPoint Manager, IGA managed-services staff, Access Management Operations 3 to 8 yrs (IIQ Senior on Naukri) Deloitte Big Four SailPoint ISC Consultant, SailPoint ISC US Shift, SailPoint Senior Consultant, SailPoint Manager 3 to 6 and 3 to 7 yrs (ISC roles) PwC Big Four SailPoint Developer IDN/IIQ Senior Associate; SailPoint Developer (hybrid) 3 to 8 and 4 to 8 yrs Cognizant IT services SailPoint Developer (Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru) 3 to 10 yrs TCS IT services SailPoint Architect (Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bengaluru) 7 to 10 yrs Virtusa (via Conqueri) IT services SailPoint Developer, Nanakramguda 7 to 11 yrs Accenture IT services Generic security roles that matched a SailPoint search Not stated per role LPL Financial GCC GCC VP IAM Engineering, IGA Senior Chubb GCC IGA Engineering Lead Senior PepsiCo GCC Architect, Identity and Access Management Senior Providence India GCC Sr. IAM Engineer Not read Zoetis GCC IDAM Technology Lead Not read ICE GCC Analyst I, Identity and Access Management 3 yrs IT security

Smaller firms and consultancies also had Hyderabad SailPoint listings: Pi Square Technologies (IAM Engineer, SailPoint, 3 to 5 years), World Wide Technology (a long-term remote contract, 8 to 12 years), Global Infovision (SailPoint Developer, 1 to 4 years, an older posting still live), Saxon Global (SailPoint IIQ developer) and ConglomerateIT (SailPoint Developer).

A few honest notes on this list:

  • Accenture had many security roles in Hyderabad that matched a SailPoint search, but we cannot say how many of them are SailPoint roles.
  • We did not see a SailPoint listing in this pass from KPMG, Infosys, HCLTech, Tech Mahindra, LTIMindtree, Capgemini or the big US banks, so we do not name them here. That does not mean they never hire; it means we found no listing to cite.
  • Two agency cards showed salaries: an Orcapod card labelled for Cognizant (6 to 10 years) showed ₹20 to 30 lakh a year, and the Conqueri card for Virtusa (7 to 11 years) showed ₹18 to 22.5 lakh a year (Naukri, October 2026). These are single listings for senior people, not typical pay.

In short: Big Four centres run implementation projects for overseas clients, IT services firms run long support and development projects (often hiring through staffing partners), and GCCs (global capability centres, the in-house tech teams of global companies) own their identity platform, so their roles mix engineering, operations and governance.

4. SailPoint roles in demand in Hyderabad

Short answer: Hyderabad listings cluster in six roles: IdentityIQ developer, ISC developer or consultant, IAM operations analyst, IGA engineer in a GCC, SailPoint architect and IAM manager.

Role What you do Experience seen in Hyderabad listings IdentityIQ developer Build connectors, rules, workflows and APIs in IIQ for provisioning and de-provisioning 3 to 10 yrs (EY, PwC, Cognizant) ISC developer or consultant Configure and integrate Identity Security Cloud, onboard applications, run implementations 3 to 7 yrs (Deloitte, EY, PwC) IAM operations or access management analyst Provisioning tickets, access reviews, Active Directory work, audit evidence About 3 yrs (ICE); managed-services staff roles (EY) IGA engineer or engineering lead Own and improve the identity governance platform inside a GCC Senior (Chubb, LPL Financial) SailPoint or IAM architect Design the overall identity solution and integrations 7 to 10 yrs (TCS); senior (PepsiCo) IAM manager Lead teams and client delivery Manager level (EY, Deloitte)

A few terms from that table, in plain words:

  • IAM (identity and access management): the broad practice of managing digital identities and their access. The NIST glossary describes it as setting up and maintaining users' roles and access privileges (NIST, October 2026).
  • IGA (identity governance and administration): the governance layer of IAM. It checks that people have the right access, runs access reviews and keeps audit records. SailPoint is an IGA product.
  • Provisioning and de-provisioning: creating accounts and giving access, then removing it when it is no longer needed.
  • Connector: the integration that lets SailPoint read accounts from, and write changes to, a target system such as Active Directory, a database or SAP.
  • Joiner-mover-leaver (JML): the three life events of an employee. A joiner gets access, a mover changes access when they change roles, and a leaver loses all access.

IdentityIQ or ISC: which is more common in Hyderabad?

Both appear. Across India, Naukri showed about 796 results for "sailpoint identityiq" against only 69 for "identitynow" on 24 October 2026. That gap is partly about wording: many cloud listings write "SailPoint ISC" or "IdentityNow (ISC)" instead. In Hyderabad specifically, EY had separate IIQ Senior and ISC Senior listings, Deloitte's listings were ISC-focused, and PwC asked for IIQ or IDN. The safe conclusion: learn IdentityIQ deeply, and understand the ISC access model (sources, identity profiles, access profiles, roles and transforms) well enough to talk about it in interviews.

5. What Hyderabad job descriptions ask for

Short answer: Hyderabad SailPoint JDs ask for 3 or more years of IAM experience, hands-on IdentityIQ or ISC, Java and BeanShell, connector and rule development, roles, SoD policies, access certifications and joiner-mover-leaver processes; certification is listed only as desirable.

We read the full text of Hyderabad listings from EY, Deloitte, PwC, Cognizant and ICE on 24 October 2026, plus similar JDs from other cities. Here is what they asked for, paraphrased.

Skill or requirement Example from a Hyderabad JD (Oct 2026) IdentityIQ development EY IIQ Senior: connectors, custom workflows, rules and APIs; at least 3 years hands-on IIQ ISC or IdentityNow Deloitte ISC Consultant: 3 to 6 years in SailPoint ISC and at least 2 full IAM implementations Java and BeanShell EY: 2+ years Java plus BeanShell, JavaScript and REST APIs; Cognizant: BeanShell and Java Application onboarding Deloitte: onboarding AD, LDAP and Exchange with out-of-the-box connectors Roles, SoD and certifications EY: RBAC, access reviews, policy management; PwC: roles, SoD policies, certifications Integrations PwC: ServiceNow integration; EY: LDAP, web services, SAP and cloud Testing and delivery PwC Senior Associate: technical design, test cases, unit and integration testing, UAT, hypercare Operations ICE Analyst I: provisioning, AD administration, access reviews, ServiceNow, Power BI reporting

You can read two of these JDs in full: the EY SailPoint IIQ Senior listing and the Deloitte SailPoint ISC Consultant listing (LinkedIn, October 2026).

Some of these words need a quick explanation:

  • BeanShell: a Java-based scripting language used to write rules in IdentityIQ. If you know basic Java, BeanShell feels familiar.
  • Rule: a small piece of custom logic that runs at a set point, for example during aggregation or provisioning.
  • Aggregation: reading accounts from a target system into SailPoint. Correlation then matches each account to the right person.
  • Entitlement and role: an entitlement is a single permission, such as an AD group; a role bundles entitlements for a job function.
  • SoD (separation of duties): a policy that stops one person holding two conflicting powers, such as creating and approving the same payment.
  • Access certification: a review campaign where managers or application owners approve or revoke each person's access. SailPoint's documentation lists types such as manager, application owner, entitlement owner and role membership certifications (SailPoint documentation, October 2026).
  • SSO and MFA: single sign-on (one login for many apps) and multi-factor authentication (a second proof such as an OTP). Deloitte and WSP JDs list them.

Experience, education and certification

  • Experience: almost every Hyderabad SailPoint listing asked for 3 years or more (3 to 6, 3 to 8, 3 to 10, 4 to 8). Architects and managers asked 7 to 15 years.
  • Education: PwC's Naukri listing said "Any Graduate"; Deloitte asked for B.Tech, M.Tech, MS or MBA; ICE said graduate in any stream with IT knowledge; Cognizant's card showed "Graduation Not Required".
  • Certification: EY listed the SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer as desirable, and PwC said certifications are "good to have". PwC's wording also named older titles such as IdentityIQ Architect and IdentityNow Engineer, which are not in SailPoint's current list.

SailPoint's current program has seven credentials: three role-based certifications (Identity Security Administrator, Identity Security Engineer and IdentityIQ Engineer, each valid for two years) and four training-based credentials (Leader, Professional, Expert and IdentityIQ Associate), according to the SailPoint certification program page (September 2026). Exams are pass or fail with no published passing score. Certification helps your profile stand out, but in Hyderabad it does not replace project experience.

6. Shifts, work mode and Hyderabad's IT hubs

Short answer: Most Hyderabad SailPoint roles are office-based or hybrid in the western IT corridor, with day shifts like 11 AM to 8 PM, some US-shift and rotational roles, and very few fully remote options.

Work mode

On Naukri's Hyderabad "sailpoint" page on 24 October 2026, 837 of the 934 results were tagged work from office, 86 hybrid and 11 remote. PwC's developer listings were hybrid across Hyderabad, Bengaluru and other cities. World Wide Technology had a long-term remote contract role, but it asked for 8 to 12 years. If you want work from home, expect it later in your career, not in your first SailPoint job.

Shifts stated in Hyderabad JDs

Employer and role Shift stated (Oct 2026) Deloitte, SailPoint ISC Consultant 11 AM to 8 PM Deloitte, SailPoint ISC (separate posting) US shift ICE, Analyst I IAM 17x5 rotational shifts EY, IGA managed services staff On-call support and occasional overtime

Implementation roles often keep a day shift with a few hours of overlap with US clients. Operations and managed-services roles are more likely to involve rotational shifts or on-call duty, because someone must fix access issues when the client's users are working.

Where the jobs are

Hyderabad's identity and security jobs sit mostly in the western IT corridor. In general terms:

  • HITEC City and Madhapur: the older IT core, with many IT services offices and staffing firms.
  • Gachibowli: large campuses for IT services firms and several global companies.
  • Financial District and Nanakramguda: home to many GCCs and large delivery centres. The Virtusa SailPoint listing we saw named Nanakramguda as its location.
  • Kokapet and nearby newer parks: growing office space for newer GCCs.

Offices move and many employers run several sites, so check the location line on each listing and factor the daily commute into your choice between office and hybrid roles.

7. SailPoint salary in Hyderabad

Short answer: AmbitionBox showed ₹7.2 to 8.3 lakh a year for SailPoint developers in Hyderabad with 1 to 6 years' experience, rising from about ₹4.8 to 5.5 lakh at 1 to 3 years to about ₹8.1 to 9.4 lakh at 3 to 6 years (October 2026).

These are AmbitionBox "typical ranges" shown to logged-out users, with the sample size and update date. They are guides, not offers.

Role in Hyderabad Typical range (AmbitionBox) Experience and sample SailPoint Developer ₹7.2 to 8.3 lakh a year 1 to 6 yrs, 263 salaries, updated 22 Oct 2026 Identity and Access Management Engineer ₹7.7 to 9.5 lakh a year 1 to 10 yrs, 229 salaries, updated 23 Oct 2026 IAM Consultant ₹11.8 to 13.8 lakh a year 2 to 9 yrs, 100 salaries, updated 20 Oct 2026 Identity and Access Management Analyst ₹5.4 to 6.2 lakh a year 1 to 8 yrs, 214 salaries, updated 21 Oct 2026

By experience, the AmbitionBox SailPoint developer page for Hyderabad showed:

  1. 1 to 3 years: ₹4.8 to 5.5 lakh a year (83 salaries)
  2. 3 to 6 years: ₹8.1 to 9.4 lakh a year (175 salaries)
  3. 6 to 9 years: ₹12.3 to 13.6 lakh a year (an AmbitionBox estimate, not reported salaries)

For IAM analysts in Hyderabad, the bands were ₹4 to 5 lakh at 1 to 3 years (59 salaries), ₹5.3 to 6.3 lakh at 3 to 6 years (130) and ₹8.8 to 11.7 lakh at 6 to 9 years (27). The jump from analyst to developer pay is the main reason operations staff push to learn rules, connectors and workflows.

AmbitionBox showed no 0 to 1 year band on any SailPoint or IAM page we read. Individual pay varies widely by employer and project. For company-wise and role-wise detail across India, read our SailPoint developer salary guide.

8. Can freshers get SailPoint jobs in Hyderabad?

Short answer: Not directly as SailPoint developers in most cases: on 24 October 2026 we found no Hyderabad or India listing that genuinely accepted 0 years for a SailPoint developer role, so freshers usually start in IAM operations, access management or support and move up.

Here is the evidence, so you can judge it yourself:

  • Naukri's search for "sailpoint fresher" showed 0 results on 24 October 2026.
  • A search for SailPoint roles open to 0 years' experience on Naukri returned 133 results across India, but most were not SailPoint jobs. Page one was mostly Android, .NET and other developer roles.
  • Experience tags can mislead. A Saviynt technical support engineer listing in Bengaluru was tagged 0 years, but its JD asked for at least 3 years implementing IGA tools. Always read the JD, not the tag.
  • PwC's Hyderabad JD asks seniors to "mentor campus grads and juniors", which suggests these teams take juniors through campus hiring, but we saw no open fresher SailPoint listing.

Realistic entry routes in Hyderabad

  1. IAM operations or access management analyst: provisioning tickets, access reviews, orphan account clean-up and audit evidence, as in EY's Access Management Operations and ICE's Analyst I listings (ICE asked for 3 years in IT security).
  2. Service desk or Active Directory support: if you already handle AD accounts and groups, you are close to IAM work. Offer to help on identity projects.
  3. Internal move at an IT services firm: join a large firm, then ask to move into its identity practice once you have basic skills.
  4. Contract or contract-to-hire: staffing partners may consider candidates with thin experience who can show hands-on SailPoint labs.
  5. Adjacent security roles: governance, risk and compliance (GRC) work teaches audit and access concepts that transfer to IGA.

Eligibility seen in listings was broad: "Any Graduate", any stream with IT knowledge, or B.Tech, MCA and similar degrees. Naukri's 0-year SailPoint results page showed "Any Graduate" 101, B.Tech or B.E. 38 and MCA 16. That is good news for BCA, B.Sc and B.Com graduates with IT skills: the degree is rarely the blocker, experience is.

9. Where and how to search for SailPoint jobs in Hyderabad

Short answer: Search Naukri and LinkedIn with several product-name variants, filter by Hyderabad, read each JD for experience and shift, ignore duplicate agency cards, and use referrals from IAM professionals.

Search strings that work

Use all of these, because Hyderabad employers name the products differently:

  • sailpoint, sailpoint developer, sailpoint iiq, sailpoint identityiq
  • sailpoint isc, identitynow, sailpoint idn
  • iam engineer, iam analyst, identity and access management, iga
  • access management operations, user access review

Step by step

  1. Set up daily alerts on Naukri and LinkedIn for "sailpoint" and "iam" in Hyderabad.
  2. Read the experience line and the JD body. Apply where you meet most "essential" points, not every "desirable" one.
  3. Check the shift and work mode before you apply.
  4. Spot duplicates. If three agencies post the same Cognizant or Virtusa role, apply once, ideally directly or through the agency that shares the most detail.
  5. Ask for referrals. Big Four firms and GCCs in Hyderabad hire a lot through employee referrals. Connect with IAM professionals on LinkedIn, comment on their posts, and ask politely when you see a matching role.
  6. Tailor your resume to the JD's words: IdentityIQ or ISC, connectors, rules, workflows, certifications, JML. Our guide to the SailPoint learning roadmap shows which skills to build in what order.

What interviewers in Hyderabad tend to test

The JDs tell you what to prepare. Expect questions on aggregation and correlation, writing a simple rule, how a joiner workflow provisions access, how you onboard an application with a connector, how roles and SoD policies work, and how an access certification campaign runs from start to revocation. ISC roles add sources, the virtual appliance, access profiles and transforms. For practice, work through our existing set of SailPoint interview questions and answers, which has about 60 questions.

10. A 12-week plan to get a SailPoint job in Hyderabad

Short answer: Spend weeks 1 to 4 on IAM basics and IdentityIQ core, weeks 5 to 8 on rules, workflows, roles and certifications plus an ISC overview, and weeks 9 to 12 on projects, resume, interviews and applications to Hyderabad employers.

This plan assumes 2 to 3 hours a day on weekdays and more at weekends. If you already work in AD or service desk support, you can move faster through the first two weeks.

Weeks Focus Output by the end 1 to 2 IAM basics: identities, accounts, entitlements, roles, JML, least privilege, SoD; refresh Java, SQL and XML One-page notes in your own words; 20 basic Java and SQL exercises 3 to 4 IdentityIQ core: Identity Cube, applications, delimited file and JDBC onboarding, aggregation, correlation Onboard a sample HR file and a sample database app in a lab 5 to 6 Rules in BeanShell, provisioning to AD, policies and violations Two simple rules and one SoD policy, with screenshots 7 to 8 Roles, access certifications, workflows; ISC overview (sources, identity profiles, access profiles, roles, transforms) A joiner workflow and a manager certification campaign; ISC notes 9 Project: a fictional "joiner to leaver" case from HR file to AD A short write-up with steps, problems and fixes 10 Resume and LinkedIn: SailPoint keywords from Hyderabad JDs, honest project section Resume reviewed against three real Hyderabad JDs 11 Interview prep: concepts, rule logic, scenario questions, mock interviews Answers to 60 practice questions; two mock interviews 12 Apply: 5 to 10 targeted applications a day, referrals, follow-ups Applications to Big Four, IT services, GCC and contract roles

A few rules for this plan:

  • Practise legally. Use official SailPoint training, Identity University or a lab from your institute or employer. Never use pirated builds.
  • Be honest on your resume. Label training projects as training projects; detailed follow-up questions expose fake experience.
  • Apply wide. Include IAM operations roles, not only developer titles.

Frequently asked questions

Are there SailPoint jobs in Hyderabad?

Yes, Hyderabad is one of India's largest SailPoint markets. On 24 October 2026, Naukri showed about 934 results for "sailpoint" in Hyderabad and LinkedIn showed 1,000+. These are keyword-match counts that include re-posts and roles where SailPoint is only one skill, so the real number of distinct SailPoint jobs is lower, but demand is clearly strong and steady.

How many SailPoint jobs are there in Hyderabad right now?

Portals do not give a clean count. On 24 October 2026, Naukri showed about 934 keyword results for "sailpoint" in Hyderabad, with 827 company posts and 107 consultant posts. Many are duplicates from agencies or broad security roles. Treat the figure as a demand signal and check the live search yourself, because the number changes every day.

Which companies hire SailPoint developers in Hyderabad?

Smaller firms like Pi Square Technologies, Saxon Global and ConglomerateIT also posted SailPoint roles. These are listings seen, not hiring promises.

Yes. In October 2026, EY, Deloitte and PwC all had SailPoint listings in Hyderabad, covering IdentityIQ and ISC developers, consultants, senior consultants and managers. Most asked for 3 to 8 years of IAM experience. We did not see a KPMG SailPoint listing in Hyderabad in that pass, so we cannot confirm KPMG roles from current listings.

We saw no SailPoint company listing in Hyderabad in October 2026, while SailPoint itself had engineering and product listings in Pune that month. In Hyderabad, SailPoint work happens at consulting firms, IT services companies and global capability centres that implement or run SailPoint products for themselves or their clients.

Is Hyderabad better than Bengaluru or Pune for SailPoint jobs?

Bengaluru had the most Naukri results for "sailpoint" on 24 October 2026, about 1,866, against about 934 in Hyderabad and 762 in Pune. Very few, if any, as direct SailPoint developer roles. Start in a related role and build SailPoint skills alongside it. Target IAM operations, access management or AD support jobs, practise IdentityIQ in a legal lab, and complete projects such as onboarding an HR file and building a joiner workflow. Label training projects honestly on your resume, use referrals, and apply to contract and staffing roles as well.

How many years of experience do Hyderabad SailPoint jobs ask for?

Most Hyderabad SailPoint listings in October 2026 asked for 3 years or more, with common ranges of 3 to 6, 3 to 8 and 3 to 10 years. Architect and manager roles asked for 7 to 15 years. One older Global Infovision listing asked for 1 to 4 years, which is about as junior as SailPoint developer listings went.

Are SailPoint IIQ or ISC jobs more common in Hyderabad?

Both are common. Across India, Naukri showed about 796 results for "sailpoint identityiq" and only 69 for "identitynow", partly because cloud roles are often written as "SailPoint ISC". In Hyderabad, EY had separate IIQ and ISC listings, Deloitte's were ISC-focused, and PwC asked for IIQ or IDN. Learning IdentityIQ well plus ISC basics covers most roles.

What skills do Hyderabad SailPoint job descriptions ask for?

They ask for hands-on IdentityIQ or Identity Security Cloud, Java and BeanShell, connector and application onboarding, aggregation, correlation and provisioning rules, workflows, roles, SoD policies, access certifications and joiner-mover-leaver processes. Many also mention SQL, REST APIs, Active Directory, LDAP and ServiceNow integration. Implementation roles add testing, UAT support and hypercare.

No. In the Hyderabad JDs we read in October 2026, SailPoint certification was listed only as desirable or good to have. EY named the SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer as desirable, and PwC called certifications good to have. Certification helps your profile stand out, but employers care more about hands-on project experience with IdentityIQ or ISC.

Which SailPoint certification should I take for Hyderabad jobs?

For IdentityIQ roles, the SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer is the role-based option, with the IdentityIQ Associate as a training-based starting point. For cloud roles, look at the Identity Security Administrator or Identity Security Engineer. Role-based certifications are valid for two years, and results are pass or fail with no published passing score.

Do Hyderabad SailPoint jobs require night shifts?

Not usually, but shifts vary. Deloitte listed 11 AM to 8 PM for one ISC role and a separate US-shift posting. ICE asked for 17x5 rotational shifts, and EY's managed-services role mentioned on-call support and occasional overtime. Implementation roles tend to keep day shifts with some US overlap, while operations roles see more rotation.

Are there work-from-home SailPoint jobs in Hyderabad?

Very few. On 24 October 2026, Naukri tagged 837 of 934 Hyderabad "sailpoint" results as work from office, 86 as hybrid and only 11 as remote. PwC's developer roles were hybrid. A World Wide Technology remote contract role asked for 8 to 12 years. Expect office or hybrid work in your first SailPoint job.

Which areas of Hyderabad have the most SailPoint and IAM jobs?

Most identity jobs sit in the western IT corridor: HITEC City and Madhapur, Gachibowli, the Financial District and Nanakramguda, and newer parks around Kokapet. Many GCCs and large delivery centres sit around the Financial District. Exact office locations change, so always check the location line on each listing and plan for the daily commute.

Are there SailPoint support or L1 and L2 jobs in Hyderabad?

Yes, though they usually go by IAM operations or access management titles. EY had Access Management Operations and IGA managed-services listings in Hyderabad, and ICE had an Analyst I IAM role covering provisioning, AD administration and access reviews. These roles are the most realistic first step for juniors, though many still ask for some IT experience.

Are there SailPoint contract jobs in Hyderabad?

Yes. In October 2026, World Wide Technology had a long-term remote SailPoint developer contract role for 8 to 12 years, and staffing firms such as Tekskills, Conqueri and Orcapod posted SailPoint roles for client companies. Contract and contract-to-hire roles can be a faster way in, but check the end client, duration and terms before you accept.

Where should I search for SailPoint openings in Hyderabad?

Naukri and LinkedIn carry the most Hyderabad SailPoint listings. Search several variants, such as sailpoint, sailpoint iiq, sailpoint isc, identitynow, iam engineer and access management operations, and set daily alerts. Ignore duplicate agency cards, read each JD for experience and shift, and ask IAM professionals on LinkedIn for referrals at Big Four firms and GCCs.

What interview topics do Hyderabad SailPoint employers test?

Expect aggregation and correlation, writing a simple BeanShell rule, onboarding an application with a connector, joiner workflows, roles and SoD policies, and running an access certification campaign. ISC roles add sources, the virtual appliance, access profiles and transforms. Prepare to explain each topic with an example from a project or lab you have done yourself.

What degree do I need for a SailPoint job in Hyderabad?
